After careful research, we chose Carothers Executive to build our custom home. Many factors led us to our decision, to include the Carothers family reputation and experience in the building business, their exterior styling, elegant interiors and architectural designs, they seemed to set themselves apart from the rest of the field.
Our experience was fun and exciting as we watched the Carothers Team of sub-contractors and vendors build the house we wanted. From choosing the plan to finalizing the landscaping, we were kept informed and in direct communication with who, what and when each stage of the process was being completed.
The best advice Jason gave us was to "find the floor plan we wanted and that he could make the exterior and interior to look like anything we wanted." He was right! After "fine tuning" one of his plans, we "adjusted on the ground" to make the final decisions and selections to get exactly the quality and look that we wanted.
A special thanks to the Carothers Team for not letting me talk ourselves out of the front doors, to Jamie Carothers for helping my wife Carol for doing all the "little" things that made the interior design so special, for all the subcontractors for their pride and craftsmanship in their work, and to Jason Carothers for delivering the home we wanted (at the price he told us). If we ever build in Central Texas again, Carothers Executive will be our choice. Job well done!

Building a home was an exciting and scary time for us. When we asked Jason to build our home, we were very comfortable with our choice of builder and Jason made the building process very easy for us. He was honest about the costs and time involved and worked hard to put us in the home that we wanted to build within the budget we wanted to stay in. His subcontractors and suppliers were also very friendly and knowledgeable and were open to all of our questions. Along with Jason’s subs, his staff was a true pleasure to work with. His design staff, office manager and job superintendent kept in constant contact with us. They answered all of our questions satisfactorily and provided us with the information we needed to feel that we were getting the product we were paying for.
The product they produce is top notch and our home turned out even better then we had expected; and their service after completion is excellent. Thank you Jason, Jamie, Amanda, Shannon and Ashley for making our dream a reality. We love it!!

Our experience with Carothers Executive Homes started in December 2008 when we selected our lot in Dawson Ranch. After submitting our floor plan we went through the experience of tweaking the design to our liking. Construction commenced in early February 2009. The house was constructed while we still resided 285 miles away in South East Texas. We were consulted frequently and kept abreast of the progress by telephone and email. Any changes we requested were dealt with in an expeditious and helpful manner by the office staff manager. The office staff was very knowledgeable, cordial and sincere with all of our concerns. Response time was immediate.
Carothers Executive Homes offer a wide range of amenities that eclipse other area builders. Their homes are well insulateed and maintain the desired temperature without having to adjust the thermostat settings. They're subdivisions refelct variations in each home so that they are distinct and do not appear as the same home plan over and over.
After moving into your new home, Carothers will respond to any and all concerns you may have in a timely professional and courteous manner. Our overall experience has been very positive with the Carothers organization and we recommend them to anyone who desires to build or buy.

Thank you for building our gorgeous lake house. We love it. It made our dreams a reality: my mom’s, ours, and my son’s. Three generations wanted a lake house on that property with a million-dollar view.
The fan in the great room is the best I’ve had in my life. We figured out what to put in the initial part of the “great room” – a burled wood roll-top antique desk I got from auction at the French Legation Museum. It’s oak, and there will be a great Monet print over it.
